PVC is great stuff. You can do so much with it and it's cheap. You could do even more with it if only there were fittings to make a corner. The corner is a basic part of the construction of everything, even spaceships. No, I was thinking of something else. Anyway, with corner fittings and a few other key components that are generally not available in stores, the stores that can provide you with pipe, elbows and tees, you could make anything, except spaceships.

Nesting Boxes are expensive. They are usually heavy, and cleaning them is labor intensive. When I saw that I would need a few dozen of these, I decided to design my own. Again, being all vinyl, they are light weight, pick them up, dump them out; even hose them off if necessary.
This is the basic frame. |

With this part you can make a corner, then a cube with pvc pipe from your favorite hardware store.
